Panther City BBQ Accuses Local Business Of Stealing Trailer

FORT WORTH, Texas – In an unusual turn of events, Panther City BBQ, a local food truck has accused another local business of being involved in a crime ring that involves stealing and reselling equipment such as trailers.

Sharing the CCTV footage to their own Instagram, Panther City BBQ shows that thieves cut through bolts, before returning later at 5:15 AM to steal a trailer in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

A used heavy-duty trailer in the state of Texas costs around $7000, proving that the thieves likely targeted the food truck in advance.

The Instagram caption reads “As many of you know, we had our trailer pits stolen on New Years Day. The suspects cut our locks off and stashed the trailer so they could lay low and pick it up later. We were able to track the trailer and recover it within 4 hours, from there the hunt was on. Over the last 3 weeks we discovered a good old fashion crime ring which involves another local Fort Worth business/restaurant owner. We observed them steal trailers, food trucks, appliances, and construction materials. Here are some pictures and videos so you are in the know. The choice is yours to patronize this business or spread the word of what he’s about. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

While Panther City BBQ did not name the culprit in their post, by reading the interaction between customers and the food truck in the comments section, it is clear to see who they are accusing of stealing the trailer.

However, FoodTruckCentral has not named the accused, since when phoning the local business, they denied any involvement and suggested it was their neighbor.
