Las Vegas, NV – A new Mexican food truck has opened this week in Las Vegas. It is located on the Boulder Highway next to the Desert Inn. This eatery offers a selection of mains, sides, and drinks which are as follows: tacos, burritos, hamburgers, tamales, wings, hot dogs, fries, quesadillas, and an assortment of soft drinks that include pepino con limon, champurrado, Gatorade, coca cola, and sangrias.
This is just a selection of the cuisine on offer and as you may have gathered, it includes a mixture of Mexican classics alongside typical US fast food as well. The prices can also be found on their Instagram account which seems reasonable, with the hamburger costing $6, while drinks are priced from $1.50.
While on the subject of the Instagram account, the profile has the term ‘Comida que te da fuerza de toro’ which loosely translates to ‘Food that gives you bull strength’. Las Vegas locals will certainly be hoping that this is the case.
The truck is operated by an older husband and wife combo who previously did party catering before deciding to move to a food truck. Although they may be new to the world of food trucks, this means that they are not new when it comes to catering. Currently, Tonos Tacos operates from 10 am to 10 pm daily.
