New food truck to open in Raleigh

Raleigh, NC – According to a recent Facebook post, a new food truck is set to open in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. Although an exact location has not yet been disclosed, the Facebook post had this to say regarding the key details: “ATTN: RTP AREA, A NEW FOOD TRUCK IS COMING TO A LOT NEAR YOU! But until we get our truck, we’ll be selling plates to fund it. Give us a try! Plates Ready NOW. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Help us get our name out.”

This was accompanied by a flyer advertising the menu which was entitled ‘Aweskar’s Heaux Kitchen Sink’. As mentioned earlier, food is currently available from a fixed address which charges $5 for a local delivery fee.

The menu includes the likes of shrimp, garlic chicken, and lamb burgers for mains. Sides include rice, corn, collard greens, and other options. Elsewhere, the dessert has the likes of peach cobblers, lemon meringue, and key lime pie on offer. The prices are as follows: canned drinks cost $.50, entrees and sides cost $20, the aforementioned with a dessert costs $25, an entree, two sides and dessert costs $30, while dessert is $5.

Unfortunately, due to the vague nature surrounding the opening, this could take weeks or even months until it is a physical food truck. Nonetheless, it’s nice to see a new business in the Raleigh area.
