Nashville, TN – Texas-based burger chain Whataburger continues its extensive expansion within the Nashville market with the addition of a new location in East Nashville. The news follows the company’s initial announcement in 2021 of plans to open nine restaurants across Middle Tennessee.
Metro building permits confirm the upcoming East Nashville restaurant will be situated at 1201 Gallatin Avenue, joining the nine other locations currently under development. This specific site encompasses a 0.9-acre parcel acquired by H G Hill Realty Company in 2021 for $2.4 million.
Whataburger’s commitment to the Nashville area began in 2021 with the initial nine-location announcement. The company has faithfully delivered on its promise, as evidenced by the opening of the Hermitage location in early 2022, followed by several others throughout the year. As of today, the following Whataburger restaurants are proudly serving the Nashville community:
- 5055 Old Hickory Blvd., Hermitage
- 1123 Nashville Pike, Gallatin
- 1835 Old Fort Pkwy., Murfreesboro
- 439 Highway 109 North, Lebanon
- 630 S Cumberland St., Lebanon
- 1715 Gallatin Pike N, Madison
- 360 W Sam Ridley Pkwy, Smyrna
Furthermore, three locations currently operate within Clarksville at 1602 Haynes St., 599 Fire Station Rd., and 791 N 2nd St.
Beyond the soon-to-open East Nashville establishment, Whataburger’s expansion plans include an additional location within Antioch’s Century Farms development, as indicated by Metro building permits.
